 Dear Parents,
The fourth grade class
is participating in the Wal-mart Recycling Program. We are
recycling your plastic shopping bags. The bags should be clean
and not used for unpackaged food. They can be from any store and
can be any color except black. They only want the shopping bags
and not other plastic wrapping material at this time. There are
two recycling boxes at the school. Please feel free to drop off
your bags, or send them with an elementary school student. For
each 10-12 pound bag we receive $5.00 toward our big Colorado
History trip. Last year was a huge success, we received over
$125.00, and recycled over 500 pounds of plastic! We hope to be
even better. The top ten schools in our state will receive a
bonus reward. So save those holiday shopping bags!
